The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber will hold a ribbon cutting at 9:30 this morning for their new sign and other improvements at the Information Center, which is open year round.? They not only have brochures, coupons and the like ? but also information on local businesses and contractors ? and it?s a good way to familiarize yourself with the area.? The open house is from 9 to 11am. ?

NEWS RELEASE:? CHAMBER TO HOLD OPEN HOUSE AND RIBBON CUTTING
FENWICK ISLAND, DE ?On Tuesday, May 22nd the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce invites the community to an open house from 9:00-11:00 a.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m. for their new sign and other improvements to their Information Center located at 36913 Coastal Highway in Fenwick Island (just north of Lewes Street).
The Chamber encourages anyone who hasn?t visited the Information Center to stop in. ?We hope to see everyone come out to officially open the season with us on the 22nd and celebrate with us all the new and exciting things that we have to offer. The Information Center is open year-round and is not only a great resource for brochures, coupons, menus, and periodicals to put in the coffee table book in your rental property; we also have information on local businesses and contractors for all of your home improvement and new construction projects? you would be surprised just how much we have here! With a lot of folks recently relocating to the Quiet Resorts, our center is the perfect place to get to know the area stated Carrie Subity, executive director. ?
Over the past year, as the Chamber hit the milestone of 35 years since incorporation, the focus has been to invest in new technologies in order to stay relevant with visitors, attract more potential customers to our businesses and help serve our current membership and community in the most efficient way possible. Some of the biggest changes are the new and very inviting website at www.TheQuietResorts.com, a new database management system and a new commercial to be used to market the area highlighting all the wonderful features that makes the Quiet Resorts special.
The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce is a coalition of nearly 800 business members in and around the towns of Bethany Beach, Clarksville, Fenwick Island, Frankford, Millville, Ocean View, Roxana, Selbyville, and South Bethany.
